The Rosarian Library is a collection of books and information dedicated to the rose. It is non-profit making and provides a research service free of charge. To provide this service specific personal details must be shared and held by the library.
Whose personal details are held?
The details that have been submitted by those requesting the library service. This will initially be name and email address.
What details will be collected?
Details that are relevant for communication. In particular personal contact details.
Basis for processing
The basis on which personal details are processed is one or more of the following:-
It is necessary for the performance of the request
It is necessary to deliver the service
Consent has been given (this may be withdrawn at any time by emailing the library)
How will details be used?
Details may be used for the following purposes:-
Provision of service
Provision of any future service
With whom will details be shared?
This will be limited to other people who may provide a service on behalf of the library (e.g. other rosarians with further knowledge than can be found in the library)
For how long will details be kept?
Throughout the period of time that a service is provided.
Personal details will be kept secure using appropriate technical and organisational measures. Please be assured that any personal details will not be shared with any third party without the relevant consent.
